How will my money help?
Students are responsible for paying a tuition of approximately $100-300 to attend outdoor science school. Currently, both public and private schools start fundraisers a year prior to students attendance and some schools are even capable of providing supplemental funds. However, many families are still unable to afford for their children to attend, meaning these kids are left out of the week long program only to hear stories from their returning classmates.
Outdoor schools also have scholarship funds that provide partial and full-scholarships to schools. However, in recent times these funds have been depleted due to high use. We are hoping to increase scholarship funds for these non-profit outdoor schools by somewhere in the neighborhood of $25,000 which would allow over 200 children to attend these life changing outdoor schools. Please see testimonials from some of these lucky students!
Below are links to the three outdoor schools that we are supporting and we feel have a great reputation. We will be splitting the donations between these amazing Outdoor Education Schools. If you have a favorite we are open to suggestions.
