Stove: After hours of researching online and playing around, we have decided to use a Super Cat alcohol stove.  This is simply a small cat food container we purchased (cat food was given to a nice kitty) and then hole punched the top portion.

Pot: We purchased a $5 aluminium grease pot and removed its handle, replacing it with cordage.

Windscreen: Our homemade windscreen is made out of an aluminum oven pan from the grocery store.

Alcohol: In either plastic bottles recycled in town or small containers, we will be carrying denatured alcohol, HEET, or any liquid that will burn really, as our fuel for our Super Cat Alcohol stove.

Water Treatment: We are using Aqua Mira Water droplets for treating our water.

The Other Goodies: We each have a cottage cheese container as a mug/bowl and “Light my Fire” Plastic sporks. We also have a P38 can opener (seen above spork in picture on left).

And the best part…. it all fits in our grease pot with a total weight of 10.2oz (excluding alcohol and Aqua Mira which is packed separately)
